Description
Built for installers and network technicians, this red live optical fiber identifier combines three essential tests in one compact handheld unit. Clip it onto an active fiber to read signal direction and relative power level without interrupting traffic or disconnecting any patch cords. Tone detection at 270Hz, 1kHz and 2kHz makes it simple to single out the right fiber in busy patch panels, splice trays and closures.
The integrated visual fault locator sends a visible red laser down the line to reveal breaks, macrobends and weak splices at distances of about 10 to 15 km. Its optical power meter tests at 850, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550 and 1625nm with a -50 to +26 dBm range, so one tool covers multimode links, single mode runs and PON/FTTH deployments.
A sturdy metal clamp grips 250µm, 900µm, 2mm and 3mm fiber with no adapter changes needed. The color screen is easy to read on site, and the slim 9 x 1.7 x 1.4 inch battery-powered body fits easily in a tool bag for FTTH installs, telecom maintenance, data centers and enterprise networks.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
