Description
This yellow live fiber optic identifier brings fiber identification, power testing and fault finding together in one portable tool. Simply clamp it onto an active fiber to see which way the signal is flowing and its relative strength, all without taking the link down or removing connectors. Built-in tone detection at 270Hz, 1kHz and 2kHz helps you isolate the exact fiber you need, even in dense distribution frames and splice enclosures.
For troubleshooting, the visual fault locator projects a bright red laser through the cable to expose fractures, bends and poor splice points up to roughly 10 to 15 km away. The optical power meter reads six standard wavelengths from 850nm to 1625nm over a -50 to +26 dBm range, making the unit suitable for multimode, single mode and PON/FTTH networks alike.
Its metal clamp accepts 250µm, 900µm, 2mm and 3mm fiber directly, so there are no extra adapters to carry or swap. With a high-visibility yellow housing, a clear color display and a lightweight 9 x 1.7 x 1.4 inch body, it’s a practical choice for FTTH contractors, telecom field crews, data center staff and network installers.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
