Description
This 3-in-1 live optical fiber identifier gives field technicians a single handheld tool for fiber identification, fault location and power measurement. Clamp it onto a live fiber to see which direction the signal is traveling and how strong it is, without cutting service or unplugging connectors. It also detects 270Hz, 1kHz and 2kHz test tones, so you can trace a specific fiber in a crowded tray or splice closure in seconds.
The built-in visual fault locator shines a red laser through the fiber to show breaks, tight bends and poor splices over distances of roughly 10 to 15 km. The integrated optical power meter reads six common wavelengths from 850nm to 1625nm across a -50 to +26 dBm range, covering multimode, single mode and PON/FTTH networks.
The metal clamp accepts 250µm bare fiber, 900µm tight buffer, and 2mm or 3mm jacketed cable without changing adapters. A clear color screen, compact 9 x 1.7 x 1.4 inch body and AA battery power make it easy to carry through FTTH installs, data centers, campus networks and telecom maintenance work.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
