Description
Get every tool you need for fiber termination and testing in one organized kit. Built for FTTH installers, CATV engineers and field technicians, this kit covers stripping, cleaving, cleaning, power measurement and fault finding, all packed in a durable black tool bag.
The optical power meter measures 10 test wavelengths across a -70dBm to +10dBm range and reads in both dBm and mW. It stores up to 500 sets of data and includes wavelength memory, backlight selection, automatic shutdown, user calibration and a built-in light.
The visual fault locator reaches 25 to 30km and fits any 2.5mm connector through its universal interface. Its high-quality laser chip makes it easy to pinpoint fiber breaks, poor connections, bends and cracks.
For termination, the 6C fiber cleaver uses a 3-in-1 clamp that holds 3mm patch cable, 0.9mm pigtail fiber and 0.25mm bare fiber. It has an automatic blade return, delivers a cleave angle of about 0.5° and is rated for around 48,000 cleaves. A drop cable stripper, 3-hole fiber stripper and Kevlar scissors handle cable prep.
Keeping connectors clean is just as important, so the kit also includes 1.25mm and 2.5mm one-click cleaning pens (800+ cleans each), a fiber cleaning cassette with a replacement tape roll, cleaning swabs, cleaning paper and a dispensing bottle. An FC-LC adapter is included for testing LC connections.
