Description
This 150m (492.13ft) MPO/A Female to MPO/A Female trunk cable is designed for the longest 16-fiber backbone runs across campus networks, large data centers and enterprise facilities. It uses OM3 multimode 50/125µm fiber with 16 fibers on each end and Type B polarity for parallel optic connections.
Insertion loss of 0.35dB or less helps preserve signal quality from one end to the other. Every connector is precision polished and individually tested for insertion loss, return loss, polarity and 3D interferometry, so each cable is ready for reliable service once installed. At 150m, this length is far past the standard OM3 reach of most high-speed modules, so confirm that your transceivers are specifically rated for this distance before ordering.
The flame-retardant 3.0mm LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket gives off less smoke and no halogen gases in a fire, making it a safe choice for enclosed spaces and occupied buildings. Aramid strength members provide the pulling strength and durability that extra-long installs require, helping protect the fibers for years to come.
The 150m length is built for major backbone routes, such as connecting separate buildings across a campus, linking opposite ends of very large facilities, or running risers through high-rise buildings. Its slim, high-density design stays light and easy to pull through trays, conduits and raised floors, helping you save space and keep installation and maintenance costs low.
Note: 16-fiber MPO/A connectors are not compatible with 12-fiber MPO connectors. Make sure your transceivers, panels and adapters are built for 16-fiber MPO before ordering.
