Description
This 120m (393.7ft) MPO/A Female to MPO/A Female trunk cable delivers a long-distance 16-fiber link for backbone cabling in large data centers, campus environments and enterprise networks. It is built with OM3 multimode 50/125µm fiber, 16 fibers on each end and Type B polarity for parallel optic connections.
Insertion loss of no more than 0.35dB helps keep transmission clean along the full run. Each connector is precision polished and individually tested for insertion loss, return loss, polarity and 3D interferometry, so every cable is ready for dependable use. At 120m, this length is well beyond the standard OM3 reach of most high-speed modules, so verify that your transceivers are specifically rated for this distance before ordering.
The flame-retardant 3.0mm LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket produces less smoke and no halogen gases if a fire occurs, making it a safe option for enclosed spaces and occupied buildings. Aramid strength members give the cable the pulling strength needed for extra-long installs and help protect the fibers over the long term.
The 120m length is made for extended backbone routes, such as linking buildings across a campus, connecting far ends of very large data halls, or running risers through tall multi-story buildings. Its slim, high-density build stays lightweight and easy to pull through trays, conduits and raised floors, helping you save space and lower installation and maintenance costs.
Note: 16-fiber MPO/A connectors are not interchangeable with 12-fiber MPO connectors. Confirm that your transceivers, panels and adapters are designed for 16-fiber MPO before ordering.
