Description
This 70m (229.66ft) MPO/A Female to MPO/A Female trunk cable offers a reliable 16-fiber backbone link for large data centers, multi-floor buildings and enterprise networks. Built on OM3 multimode 50/125µm fiber with 16 fibers on each end and Type B polarity, it is designed for parallel optic transceivers used in 40G through 1.6T networks.
Insertion loss of 0.35dB or less helps keep data transmission stable from end to end. Every connector is precision polished and individually tested for insertion loss, return loss, polarity and 3D interferometry, so each cable arrives ready for dependable service. Because 70m sits near the upper reach limit for many OM3 applications, check that your transceivers are rated to support this distance before ordering.
The flame-retardant 3.0mm LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket gives off less smoke and no halogen gases in a fire, making it a safe choice for enclosed spaces and occupied buildings. Aramid strength members add the pulling strength and durability needed for long installs, helping protect the fibers over years of use.
The 70m length is suited to long-distance routes, such as connecting distant data halls, running risers between several floors, or linking a central distribution area to remote telecom rooms. Its slim, high-density build remains light and easy to pull through trays, conduits and raised floors, helping you save space and keep installation and maintenance costs down.
Note: 16-fiber MPO/A connectors will not mate with 12-fiber MPO connectors. Confirm that your transceivers, panels and adapters support 16-fiber MPO before ordering.
