Description
When a fiber link runs a little too hot, a 5dB fixed attenuator is often all you need. This 5-pack of SC/APC attenuators lowers optical power by a steady 5dB, helping you bring input levels within your receiver’s safe operating window without altering the transmitted signal.

Each green SC/APC attenuator uses a male to female design. Plug the male end into an SC/APC port and connect your SC/APC patch cord to the female end, with no extra adapters needed. Return loss of 60dB or more keeps back reflection low on angled-polish FTTH, PON and CATV links, and polarization dependent loss stays at 0.2dB or less.

With five attenuators in the pack, you can balance power across several links or keep spares on hand for installs and service calls. They’re well suited to fiber CATV systems, fiber communication networks and high-power optical device testing.
