Description
Short fiber runs and high-output transmitters can push far more light than a receiver is built to handle. This 5-pack of 10dB SC/APC fixed attenuators drops optical power by a full 10dB, protecting ONTs, transceivers and CATV receivers from overload while leaving the transmitted signal unchanged.

Each green attenuator plugs its SC/APC male end directly into the equipment port, and your SC/APC patch cord connects to the female end. No adapters or tools are required. Return loss of 60dB or more keeps reflections low on angled-polish links carrying video and data, and polarization dependent loss stays at 0.2dB or less.

Five per pack gives you enough to protect several links or keep spares on hand for installs. They’re a dependable choice for FTTH installers, CATV operators, network technicians and labs testing high-power optical devices.
