Description
Keep a steady supply of 5dB SC/APC attenuators on hand with this 10-pack. A 5dB fixed attenuator is a common fix for links that deliver slightly more power than a receiver can comfortably handle, especially on short FTTH drops and CATV runs. Each unit reduces optical power by a consistent 5dB while leaving the original signal unchanged.

The green male to female design plugs straight into any SC/APC port, and your SC/APC patch cord connects on the other side. No adapters or tools are required. With return loss of 60dB or more, these attenuators protect sensitive APC links that carry video and high-speed data, while polarization dependent loss stays at 0.2dB or less.

Ten per pack means you can stock every service van and tool bag at a lower cost per attenuator. They’re a practical choice for FTTH contractors, CATV operators and network maintenance teams, as well as labs calibrating optical instruments and testing high-power devices.
