Description
This 20 meter (66 ft) armored fiber cable uses a built-in stainless steel armor layer to protect the optical fibers far better than a standard fiber optic cable. The rugged construction suits hazardous areas, including environments with dust, oil, gas, moisture, or rodents that chew through ordinary cable.

At 20 meters, this assembly is a good fit for short outdoor and industrial runs, such as linking buildings on the same property, connecting a control cabinet to a machine, or reaching from an equipment room to an outdoor enclosure. It arrives factory terminated and tested, so there are no field terminations, no polishing, and no splice enclosures to seal.

The 6 strand build gives you three fiber pairs in one cable. Run one active link and keep two pairs in reserve, or put up to three separate duplex links through a single conduit. That saves pulling a second cable later when you add a camera, sensor, or switch to the same route.

Terminated with ST UPC connectors on both ends and built on 9/125μm single mode glass, it delivers low insertion loss and high return loss for reliable campus, industrial, and backbone links. The stainless steel tube and PVC jacket handle a 40mm bend radius and tensile loads of 100 to 132 lbs, and the cable operates from -40 to 75°C.
