Description
This 30 meter (98 ft) armored fiber cable has a built-in stainless steel armor layer that protects the optical fibers far better than a standard fiber optic cable. Its rugged construction makes it suitable for hazardous areas, including environments with dust, oil, gas, moisture, or rodents that chew through ordinary cable.

At 30 meters, this assembly fits medium outdoor and industrial runs, such as connecting buildings on the same property, linking a control cabinet to a machine, or running from an equipment room to an outdoor enclosure. It arrives factory terminated and tested, so there are no field terminations, no polishing, and no splice enclosures to seal.

The 6 strand design gives you three fiber pairs in one cable. Use one pair for your active link and hold two in reserve, or run up to three separate duplex links through a single conduit. That spares you a second cable pull later when you add a camera, sensor, or switch along the same route.

Fitted with ST UPC connectors on both ends and built on 9/125μm single mode glass, it offers low insertion loss and high return loss for dependable campus, industrial, and backbone links. The stainless steel tube and PVC jacket handle a 40mm bend radius and tensile loads of 100 to 132 lbs, and the cable works from -40 to 75°C.
