HPE Aruba J9281D Compatible 10G SFP+ Direct Attach Copper Cable (1 metre, 30AWG, Passive)

This direct attach copper cable is a lower-cost replacement for the HPE Aruba J9281D assembly. It is 1 metre long (3.3 ft) and carries data rates up to 10.5 Gbps, meeting the bandwidth requirements for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-CU), 8G Fibre Channel and 10G Fibre Channel over Ethernet.

A passive twinax cable like this one needs no power beyond the host port and adds almost no latency, which makes it the usual choice for short in-rack runs between switches, servers and storage. Compared with a pair of optical transceivers plus a patch lead, it costs far less and consumes less power, so it is the sensible option any time both ends sit within a couple of metres of each other.

Every cable is individually programmed and tested to work with HPE Aruba 10G switches, routers, network adapters and storage systems, so the port recognises it at plug-in with no extra configuration.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
