Description
This 80m (262.47ft) MPO Female to MPO Female trunk cable offers a factory-terminated, high-density link for long-distance runs across data centers, campus buildings and enterprise sites. It carries 12 OM4 multimode fibers (50/125µm) in a single compact cable, letting you set up high-speed connections over large distances without the cost and time of on-site termination.
MPO Female connectors with Type B polarity are installed on each end, making the cable well matched to 40G QSFP+ SR4, 100G QSFP28 SR4, 200G and 400G parallel optic transceivers. Insertion loss of no more than 0.7dB and return loss above 30dB help keep 850nm transmission clear and reliable. At this length, check that your transceivers are rated to cover the full OM4 distance.
The 80m length is built for major backbone routes, such as connecting separate data halls, linking telecom rooms across several floors, or running from a main distribution area to far-off equipment zones. The 3.0mm LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket keeps the cable lightweight and flexible over long pulls, so it routes easily through cable trays, conduits and raised floors. LSZH construction reduces smoke and produces no halogen gases in a fire, making it a sensible choice for enclosed spaces and occupied buildings. The purple jacket follows the OM4 color code for easy identification along the full run.
With tensile strength of 180N long-term and 500N short-term and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, this OM4 MPO trunk cable is made to stand up to long installs and deliver steady performance over time. Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
