Description
This 100m (328ft) MPO Female to MPO Female trunk cable is a factory-terminated solution for long-distance backbone links in data centers, campus buildings and enterprise networks. It combines 12 OM4 multimode fibers (50/125µm) in one compact cable, letting you run high-speed connections across large facilities without the time and labor of terminating fiber on site.
MPO Female connectors with Type B polarity are installed on both ends, making this cable a good fit for 40G QSFP+ SR4, 100G QSFP28 SR4, 200G and 400G parallel optic transceivers. Insertion loss of 0.7dB or less and return loss above 30dB help keep transmission at 850nm clean and stable. For runs at this length, check the rated OM4 reach of your transceivers to confirm they support the full distance.
The 100m length is made for major backbone runs, such as linking separate data halls, connecting floors in multi-story buildings, or running from a main distribution area to distant telecom rooms. Despite the long length, the 3.0mm LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket keeps the cable light and flexible, so it pulls easily through cable trays, conduits and raised floors. LSZH construction produces less smoke and no halogen gases in a fire, making it well suited to enclosed spaces and occupied buildings. The purple OM4 jacket color helps technicians identify the cable along its full run.
With tensile strength rated at 180N long-term and 500N short-term and an operating range of -40°C to +85°C, this OM4 MPO trunk cable is built to handle long pulls and deliver reliable service over time. Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
