Description
This 15m (49.21ft) MPO Female to MPO Female trunk cable is a factory-terminated link designed for extended runs in high-density fiber networks. It houses 12 OM4 multimode fibers (50/125µm) inside one slim cable, giving you a quick, efficient way to connect high-speed equipment without terminating fiber in the field.
Both ends carry MPO Female connectors with Type B polarity, which makes the cable a reliable choice for 40G QSFP+ SR4, 100G QSFP28 SR4, 200G and 400G parallel optic transceivers. Insertion loss of 0.7dB or less and return loss above 30dB help ensure steady, high-quality transmission at 850nm.
At 15m, this cable covers longer distances such as runs between separate rows in a data center, connections from a main distribution area to remote equipment racks, or links between rooms on the same floor. The 3.0mm LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket keeps long cable runs lightweight and easy to route through trays, conduits and under raised floors. LSZH material releases less smoke and no halogen gases if exposed to fire, so it is well suited to enclosed spaces and occupied buildings. The purple OM4 jacket color makes the cable easy to trace along its full length.
With tensile strength of 180N long-term and 500N short-term and an operating range of -40°C to +85°C, this OM4 MPO trunk cable is built to handle long pulls during installation and deliver dependable service over time. It is a cost-effective way to shorten deployment time, conserve space and keep cabling organized in data centers, server rooms and enterprise networks.
