Description
The NK50 optical power meter is built for testing high-power fiber links. Its -50dBm to +26dBm range handles strong signals that standard meters can’t, making it a good fit for CATV networks, amplified (EDFA) systems and high-output transmitters, as well as everyday FTTH work.
It measures 8 standard wavelengths from 850nm to 1650nm and displays both mW and dBm values side by side. Wavelength memory brings back your last setting each time you power on, and user calibration helps keep readings accurate over time.
A built-in 2mW visual fault locator lets you trace patch cords and short fiber runs, showing red light wherever the fiber is broken, bent too tightly or badly connected. The 2.5mm universal port accepts SC, FC and ST connectors, and the included FC to LC adapter lets you test LC connections too.
The durable, drop-resistant housing is small enough to slip into a pocket. Backlight selection, an LED work light and automatic shutdown make it practical in the field. It runs on 2 AAA batteries (not included) and comes with a lanyard, instructions and FC to LC adapter.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
