Description
Every fiber connection depends on a clean end face. Even a small amount of dust or film on a ferrule can increase loss, cause reflection and lead to failed tests or unstable links. This black fiber optic cleaning kit combines a cleaning cassette and dual one-click pens with a full set of support tools, so you can clean any common connector quickly and correctly.
The cleaning cassette is ideal for patch cord ends and loose connectors. Simply wipe the ferrule across the cleaning strip for a fresh, consistent clean on both 1.25mm and 2.5mm ferrules, with more than 550 uses per cassette. For connectors already installed in panels or equipment, the one-click pens clean straight through the adapter. The 1.25mm pen is sized for LC and MU, and the 2.5mm pen is sized for SC, FC and ST. Each pen lasts for more than 800 cleans, keeping the cost per clean low.
The kit also includes 200 foam swabs, 50 sheets of dust-free paper, an alcohol pump bottle, an air blower and a brush, all packed into a storage bag. It works for indoor and outdoor jobs and is a practical everyday kit for fiber installers, service technicians, data center operators and network maintenance crews.
