Description
Measuring optical power and link loss is essential for installing, certifying and troubleshooting fiber networks. This fiber tester kit pairs an M70 optical power meter with an M1315 singlemode light source, giving you a complete, pocket-sized solution for insertion loss testing and fault finding in the field.
The M70 power meter covers 10 standard wavelengths from 850nm to 1650nm, making it suitable for multimode, singlemode, PON, CWDM and FTTH applications. With a test range of -70dBm to +10dBm, it handles everything from low-signal long-haul links to high-power active equipment. A built-in 10km visual fault locator projects visible red light into the fiber, helping you quickly spot breaks, tight bends and bad connectors without switching tools.
The M1315 light source provides stable 1310nm and 1550nm output at -5dBm for accurate loss measurements on singlemode links. Choose continuous wave (CW) or modulated output at 270Hz, 1kHz or 2kHz for fiber identification and testing with compatible equipment.
Both devices also include an RJ45 line sequence test for checking copper network cable pinouts, plus built-in LED lighting for working in dark closets, ceilings and enclosures. An FC to LC/SC/FC adapter is included so you can connect to the most common fiber connectors. Each unit is powered by 2 AAA batteries (4 total, not included), keeping the kit light and easy to carry for installers, field technicians and network maintenance teams.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
