Zyxel DAC10G-1M Compatible 10G SFP+ 1m Passive Direct Attach Copper Twinax Cable

This direct attach copper cable, also known as a twinax or DAC cable, is a lower-cost replacement for the Zyxel DAC10G-1M. It carries data rates up to 10.5 Gbps, meeting the bandwidth requirements for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-CU), 8G Fibre Channel and 10G Fibre Channel over Ethernet.

The cable is built for short reach links in high-speed interconnects: high-performance computing, top of rack switching, and network storage. It fully complies with the SFP+ Multi-Source Agreement standards SFF-8431, SFF-8432 and SFF-8472. Each cable is made from high-grade components and tested to meet or exceed industry specifications, giving hardware builders and data centre operators high port density at low cost and reduced power draw.

A passive twinax cable needs no power beyond the host port and adds almost no latency, so it costs less and runs cooler than an SFP+ optical transceiver pair or an active optical cable. Every cable is programmed to work with a wide range of Zyxel 10G switches, routers, network cards and storage systems, so the port recognises it at plug-in with no extra configuration.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
