Description
The 130M ST to ST 12 strand singlemode armored tactical fiber cable brings high capacity to long ST runs that need to go live quickly. It arrives fully terminated on a portable reel, so there’s no splicing or field termination. Just unroll, twist each ST connector into place and you’re ready.
With 12 singlemode fibers, you can run up to six independent duplex links through one cable, or keep several pairs idle as hot spares for instant failover. That makes it well suited to sites running multiple systems side by side, such as control, surveillance, data and video. The cable connects to ST-equipped switches, media converters, industrial controllers and other compatible devices, and its 427 ft length bridges large parking areas, utility yards, outdoor venues and multi-building campuses.
The armor shields the fibers from crushing and pulling, so the cable can be driven over, walked on and redeployed many times. Utility crews, industrial maintenance teams, broadcasters, event producers and emergency responders use cable like this for temporary links that need to perform like permanent ones.
