Description
Bring high optical power down to a safe level with this 10dB LC/UPC fixed fiber optic attenuator. When a signal is too strong, it can overload or damage the receiver on transceivers, ONTs and other equipment. This in-line attenuator reduces the input power by a fixed 10dB without changing the transmitted signal, keeping your link stable and your equipment protected.

The male to female design plugs straight into an LC/UPC port, and your existing LC/UPC patch cord connects to the other end. No extra adapters or tools are needed. It offers high attenuation accuracy, low added loss and good long-term stability, with return loss of 60dB or more and polarization dependent loss of 0.2dB or less.

Use it in fiber optic CATV networks, DWDM and EDFA systems, OADM links and general fiber communication systems. It’s also handy for calibrating optical instruments and testing high-power optical devices.
